I'd like to post a scathing review of the Penny Arcade game (Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness
), but after playing the demo, there's no way I'd be willing to pay a single penny for it, let alone $20. I'm a big fan of the webcomic, but this game does not live up to the quality of its source material. It seems to suffer from many of the faults that the PA crew themselves complain about when seen in other games. If someone who has played both the demo and the real game can confirm that the demo is exactly the same as the beginning of the actual game, I'll gladly skewer the first half hour or so of gameplay.
